Since the night of the shooting in the Aurora, Colorado theater I have had a couple thoughts ... a little disjointed, yet the thoughts continue ...
One night over 20 years ago when I was a flight attendant on a flight up north, the captain came on the speaker telling us all to turn off the lights and look out the left side of the plane so that we would see the notorious "Northern Lights" ... or the "Aurora Borealis", one of nature's most spectacular phenomena. We did as the captain suggested and turned the lights off. I must tell you I have the most amazing memory of what my eyes saw! The beautiful colors filled the entire nighttime sky ... On my 60th birthday my sister gave me a very special and meaningful birthday present that she bought at an estate sale ... a necklace made from a string of Aurora Borealis crystals. They are beautiful!!
Just a week or so ago it was reported that the sun shot off some gases/fire ?? and news reports were made of how the effects of that event produced the beautiful Aurora Borealis! FIRE from the sun produced something beautiful here on earth!
The other evening, during the new movie preview "Dark Knight Rises", tragedy struck Aurora, Colorado. When that happened I immediately thought of "DARK NIGHT RISES" vs. KNIGHT. The very name of this movie spoke to me of the enemy rising up making this the darkest of nights for many people. I say, as it is written in the Word, Isaiah 59:19 "So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and HIS glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him."
I say and declare that the very name of this city, Aurora, will demonstrate the handiwork of our Lord as He raises up a standard of "the rising of the SON(sun)" in the midst of this DARKNESS as HE causes 'something BEAUTIFUL' to come from this tragedy!! I say that the LIGHT OF JESUS WILL RISE in the midst of Aurora!
A NAME IS SO IMPORTANT as it is a demonstration ... a prophetic declaration!
